PBs, the 1 in 20 and the joy of progress

All of us cyclists are on our own journey through the sport and we're all motivated by different things. For me, a big driver is the desire to improve, to get fitter, stronger and faster. A good hard go at the local benchmark climb, the 1 in 20, gives me a chance to see where I'm at and as I was reminded a week or two ago, setting a new best time is always a tremendous feeling.
