Tour of Australia: stage 20

After three weeks of tough racing, beautiful climbs and amazing scenery the Tour of Australia comes to end. The GC would have been decided by now so the last stage would be largely ceremonial. But that doesn't mean it wouldn't make for spectacular viewing. Read more “Tour of Australia: stage 20”

Tour of Australia: stage 19

On the penultimate day of the Tour of Australia the riders head for the hills west of Sydney. The climbs aren't particularly long, but they are steep, particularly the last one out of Jenolan Caves. Tour of Australia: stage 15

On the first day back after the final rest day, the riders in the Tour of Australia head west over the Great Dividing Range before heading north to the nation's capital. Tour of Australia: stage 14

On the final day before the second rest day the riders head down from the Perisher ski resort all the way out to the NSW coast. It's a largely downhill stage, obviously, but even without a categorised climb to speak of, the riders will still clock up nearly 2,000m of climbing before reaching the finish. Tour of Australia: stage 10

On the previous stage of the Tour of Australia the riders took on a couple of climbs on their way to a flat finish in Bairnsdale. On stage 10 they head north along the Great Alpine Road from Bairnsdale to Omeo with some climbing along the way. Read more “Tour of Australia: stage 10”
